Our most recent success story is the CAFS (Clinical Assessment and Feedback System) iPad app that we built for University of Birmingham’s School of Dentistry (UBSD) – which we’re delighted to report has won an award for Educational Enhancement and Innovation.
In order to provide a robust recording and feedback tool for the monitoring and assessment of learner activities, we worked with UBSD to develop a bespoke HTML5 web app which is be accessed from desktops, laptops and tablet computers such as iPads, iPad minis.
The app needed to provide a variety of functions and facilities, enabling learners to create a clear record of their treatment sessions with patients, labs or simulation equipment, and provide a reporting and feedback loop between dental students and their teachers.
This intuitive and innovative app can be managed via a secure administration portal, so that the interface and input fields can be adjusted as needed, and includes a detailed reporting system.
