Haiti charity website goes live ahead of schedule

Over the past few weeks here at Invent Partners, we have been working on a new website for the charity Hands of Hope, which works in Haiti to help with health, education and other local projects / organisations.

In the light of the recent earthquake in Haiti, and the need to the keep information flowing between Haiti, Hands of Hope, and their supporers, we have decided to launch the website early.

Hands of Hope works in Haiti, mainly in the Port-du-Paix area in the North West of the island. this is some distance from the epicentre of the earthquake, and although the region felt the aftershock, casualties have been relatively minor in the region compared to the destruction which has occured at Port-au-Prince in the south. However, there are fears that a tsunami may follow the quake. This may affect the whole country.

Some of the content for the new Hands of Hope is still not finished, but supporters can sign up to the charity's email newsletter. We'll be updating subscribers with any breaking news, or any fundraising activities.

Visit the new site at http://www.handsofhope.org.uk

“ From the outset, invent Partners got the balance right and were prepared to listen to our needs, whilst at the same time offering their depth of knowledge and experience. The end product we received is exceptional and has since proven its worth, fundamentally from a ‘back end’ input and management information viewpoint and importantly from a ‘front end’ consumer ease of use stance. Needless to say, we are growing our business as a result, with 80% of web business as ‘net new’. ”
